Terms and Conditions
By placing an order with Lighting Creations Ltd you are offering to purchase a product which we agree to sell you on the following Terms and Conditions.
The Terms and Conditions set out below constitute the entire agreement between the parties, any variation will only be effective if agreed in writing and signed by an authorised signatory of Lighting Creations Ltd.
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order and selling price by us to you. A legally binding contract only exists between the parties once we have accepted and confirmed your order and we have received payment in full.
Despatch times may vary according to availability. Any commitments to delivery lead times made by us is limited to mainland UK and on the basis that we cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery caused by any circumstances that reasonably could be considered out of our control.
Lighting creations reserve the right to amend, remove or vary any of the content that appears in the Lighting Creations website at itís discretion, without notice and at any time.
These Terms and Conditions are set out in accordance with the laws of England, irrespective of where the purchaser may live. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by arbitration will fall under the jurisdiction of the English High Court.
We will not disclose to anybody your name, address, e-mail address or any telephone numbers unless authorised by you to do so, with the exception of when we do so to facilitate the delivery of your order. Any information about you held by us will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order, deliveries are not normally made outside the United Kingdom, however, we will consider any such requests without prejudice on an exceptional basis.
Orders placed before 1:00pm on a working day will be processed that day and will be delivered as per the order confirmation, provided that payment is cleared and the items are available. (Working days are considered to be any day other than weekends, bank and other public holidays.)
If delivery cannot be made for any circumstances under our control, Lighting Creations Ltd will inform you as promptly as possible and refund to you any payment made by you.
If you deliberately refuse to accept delivery of the goods then, without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to us, we will cancel your order and refund your payment net of any reasonable costs incurred by us in fulfilling the transaction.
Lighting creations will not accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. The goods may be delivered to you in advance of the quoted delivery date.
When you take delivery of your order, you will be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. Please note on the delivery receipt if you have been unable to check the contents of the package at this time. Failure to do so this may adversely affect any subsequent warranty claims that you should make.
Please check your order immediately for damages and or shortages as claims for these must be made within 48 hours of delivery receipt. Claims for damages and or shortages made after 48 hours of delivery will ordinarily be refused. Time and date of delivery will be recorded by the carriers.
Prices and Product description
We will try to ensure that the prices shown on our website are accurate at all times, however, if an error is found when you place your order we will contact you. If you do not wish to reconfirm your order at the correct price, we will cancel your order and refund or re-credit you for any payment that has been made for the goods in question.
The Illustrations, measurements and descriptions in our web-site are provide to us by our suppliers, they should be treated as for guidance only and are subject to alteration by them without the necessity for prior notification.
If you change your mind
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after delivery receipt provided that the goods have not been fitted, assembled or modified in any way, they are returned in the original packaging and are still in a saleable condition.
Unfortunately, bespoke goods that have been manufactured specifically for you cannot be returned for credit. This will be pointed out to you at the time you place your order and confirmed on the order confirmation.
Please note: There may be an additional re-stocking charge for high value goods if the request to return them. This charge will be deducted from your refund. We will pass on directly to you the value of any re-stocking charge to us from our supplier.
To cancel your order, you must fill in an online Return Request Form, we will not accept notification by telephone as sufficient. If you are given authorisation to return goods to Lighting Creations then they must arrive back to us within 14 days of the authorisation date. Failure to achieve this deadline may result in the authorisation to return being rescinded.
If you cancel your order after the goods have been dispatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Lighting Creations at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address shown on the "Customer Service" page.
You must take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged whilst they are in your possession or in return transit. The goods will be inspected by us on return and we reserve the right to withhold refunding your payment if they are found to be damaged or if they have not been returned as required.
Lighting Creations will refund any payments (net of carriage charges) within 30 days of receipt of the Return Request Form or the return of the goods in question.
If the goods are damaged or faulty
If any goods are damaged in transit or develop a defect while under warranty, you will initially be responsible for returning the goods to Lighting Creations at your own cost.
The goods will be inspected by us on return and, providing that we can verify the concern and that the goods have been returned as required, they will be replaced and you will be refunded for any costs you have incurred in their return to us.
Faulty or defective goods returned under warranty may need to be returned to the manufacturers for testing. In any event the returns process will be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Any goods returned in respect of a warranty claim that are found not to be faulty or that are considered to have been subjected to misuse or incorrect installation will be returned to the customer who will be expected to meet the carriage charges incurred in the process.
Lighting Creations should be notified as soon as possible about any damaged or defective goods. Goods damaged should be reported within 7 days of delivery receipt.
Unless specifically stated, bulbs (lamps) are not covered by the warranty and will not be replaced free of charge regardless of whether the bulbs were purchased or supplied as part of a light fitting.
Bulbs that are dead on arrival may be replaced at our discretion providing we receive written notification within 48 hours of delivery.
When we undertake a specific promotion there will be a unique Promotion Code to enable customers to access the campaign. This will be visible on any device that communicates the offer.

The promotion will normally run for a period of three months- unless otherwise stated.
Where there is a promotional discount, a limit of one discount per household will apply and the maximum order value to which the discount can be applied is £200- unless otherwise stated.
A Promotion Code cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion from Lighting Creations Ltd- unless otherwise stated.
These offers cannot be transferred.
Goods purchased from Lighting Creations Ltd that are the subject of such promotions must not be offered for resale or sold to third parties.
In order to activate Promotion Codes, customers will be required to register with Lighting Creations Ltd so that the transaction can be processed. Unfortunately, the codes cannot be activated without registration.
We require customersí to register for these offers simply so that we can implement an audit process; we DO NOT store any credit card data. All of our financial transactions are processed by a third party organisation- SAGEPAY.
